The Dover Public Library started the Dover Comic Con as an end of the year party for their student summer reading program. Now, Dover Comic Con has quickly grown into a citywide community event! This year the Delaware State News has taken over management of the event to help with the increasing crowd size. There's something for everyone with over a hundred vendors, a cosplay competition, and panel discussions throughout the day. Mark your calendars for August 17th, 2019! Please check back closer to the event date for information on all of the great events we’ll have planned this year!

It’s back! The movie that made Arnold Schwarzenegger a household name – and the ultimate ‘80s action/adventure hero! Based on the classic sword-and-sorcery stories and comics, the films traces the titular barbarian’s quest to track down the vicious cult leader (James Earl Jones) who murdered his parents. Co-written by director Milius (Apocalypse Now, Red Dawn) and Oliver Stone (JFK, Scarface), Conan the Barbarian is a thrilling adventure that’s made to be seen on the big screen!

Join me, as I get on stage to build a custom model from a bin of spare parts. I will go over my design process and all the model making techniques I use to kitbashed unique designs. Attendees, feel free to bring a model kit or parts and build along during the panel.
